Jack Mitchell’s missed extra point in the second quarter had Northwestern trailing Penn State 21-20 late in the fourth quarter, but the Wildcats kicker redeemed himself.
After the missed PAT and two missed field-goal attempts, Mitchell drilled a 35-yarder with just seconds remaining to propel the Wildcats to the 23-21 win on Saturday.
