The new U.S. 30 overpass at the Canadian National Railroad tracks in south suburban Lynwood will open Friday, but nearby lane reductions are scheduled.

To connect to the overpass, U.S. 30 from the Indiana State Line to Illinois Route 83 will be reduced to one lane in each direction until early December, according to a statement from the Illinois Department of Transportation.

Access between Sauk Trail Road and U.S 30 will also not be allowed during this time. A detour will be directed to Torrence Avenue to connect with U.S. 30.
