A man was shot outside his home in the South Shore neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

About 3:10 p.m., the 21-year-old was getting out of his car outside his home in the 7700 block of South Saginaw when he was shot in the leg, police said.

He was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital and was listed in good condition, police said.
