Actor Jake McDorman is expanding his connection to Bradley Cooper and his big screen roles — at least in a sense.

Here’s the deal: McDorman recently co-starred with Cooper in the biggest film of 2014: the acclaimed and Oscar-nominated “American Sniper.”

Now we get word that McDorman will play the role Cooper portrayed in the big 2011 hit, “Limitless.” However, the new Eddie Morra will be in aTV pilot that’s being prepped for CBS.

In the original film, directed by Neil Burger, Cooper’s character was a struggling writer who becomes a financial genius — thanks to a mysterious pill that enables him to utilize 100 percent of his brain’s capabilities. But with that gift comes a lot of additional dangers.
