Actor Jake McDorman is expanding his connection to Bradley Cooper and his big screen roles — at least in a sense.

Here’s the deal: McDorman recently co-starred with Cooper in the biggest film of 2014: the acclaimed and Oscar-nominated “American Sniper.”

Now we get word that McDorman will play the role Cooper portrayed in the big 2011 hit, “Limitless.” However, the new Eddie Morra will be in a TV pilot that’s being prepped for CBS.

In the original film, directed by Neil Burger, Cooper’s character was a struggling writer who becomes a financial genius — thanks to a mysterious pill that enables him to utilize 100 percent of his brain’s capabilities. But with that gift comes a lot of additional dangers.
