A man died Sunday morning after a crash on Interstate 294 in northwest suburban Maine Township.
Carlos Buenogarcia, 38, was involved in a crash on I-294 at milepost 44 in Maine Township, according to the Cook County medical examiner’s office.
Buenogarcia, of the 2400 block of South Trumbull, was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:26 a.m., according to the medical examiner’s office.
An autopsy Monday found he died of multiple injuries from a motor-vehicle collision, and his death was ruled an accident.
An Illinois State Police spokesman did not return calls for comment.
