Three preschoolers were hurt in a school bus crash Thursday in an unincorporated area of southwest suburban Kendall County.
The schools bus was heading westbound on River Road approaching Blackhawk Springs when it left the road, according to a statement from the Kendall County sheriff’s office.
The bus then hit a few trees before coming to a stop, according to the statement. It was carrying three students between 3 and 5 years old and two adults at the time of the crash.
All three children and one of the adults were taken to a hospital with injuries that are not thought to be life-threatening, according to the statement.
