Giulia Magnelli hits 3-run home run, helps Ridgewood top Niles West

In her first two plate appearances against the Niles West softball team on Friday, Ridgewood shortstop Sabrina Krasinski pounded an RBI double and then followed that with a sharply-hit leadoff single.

Krasinski found herself in another big spot against the Wolves in the bottom of the fourth. Two runners were on base and there was just one out in a tie game. The junior attacked the first pitch she saw, but she popped it up. Niles West pitcher Maya Caballero caught it for the second out of the inning.
