An 18-year-old man was shot repeatedly in the South Shore neighborhood Monday night.

About 8:35 p.m., he was walking in the 1700 block of East 71st Street when someone got out of a dark-colored sedan and began shooting, police said.

He was shot in the neck, arm and leg and he suffered a graze wound to the chest, police said.

The man–a documented gang member–was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital where his condition stabilized, police said.
