Bulls forward Nikola Mirotic’s former European squad Real Madrid, won their ninth Euroleague championship on Sunday, and Mirotic was excited to say the least.

Which translates to: “The ninth!!!!!!!! Congratulations to the team and all the Real Madrid in the Euroleague!!”

Mirotic played for Real Madrid from 2008-14, where he won two Spanish League MVPs.

Amongst the players on the Real Madrid championship team was former Bulls guard Andres Nocioni.

Nocioni, who played five seasons with the Bulls, won the Euroleague championship MVP and said the Real Madrid team has achieved “something wonderful.”

I’m really happy at being able to make the supporters happy and bring them this long-awaited trophy. We’ve achieved something wonderful and we’re happy to be here. My MVP award belongs to the whole team.

Nocioni last played in the NBA in 2012 for the Philadelphia 76ers.
