A man was found stabbed and seriously wounded Saturday afternoon in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

Police responding to reports of a person stabbed about 12:50 p.m. found the 22-year-old in the 6700 block of South Ada with a stab wound to his abdomen, police said. He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was listed in serious condition.

Investigators were still trying to determine where the stabbing actually occurred Saturday afternoon, as the man did not appear to have been stabbed in the same location where he was found on Ada, police said.
