Police: Three Chicago women caught using altered credit cards at Walmart

Three Chicago women were caught using fraudulent credit cards Wednesday at a west suburban Wal-Mart, according to police.

The women tried to make purchases at a Wal-Mart in unincorporated Glen Ellyn using altered credit cards linked to victims’ credit accounts, according to the DuPage County sheriff’s office.

Rashonda Frazier, 23, was charged with felony possession of an altered credit card and misdemeanor counts of obstruction of identification and unlawful use of a weapon (stun gun), police said.

Nateia Hill, 22; and Tiffany Jones, 27, were each charged with one felony count of possession of an altered credit card, police said.

Frazier and Jones are each being held on a $20,000 bond, and Hill is being held on $10,000.
