A 38-year-old man was shot in the foot Saturday evening in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

He was on the street about 5:50 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Madison when gunfire erupted, police said.

He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the foot and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
