An 18-year-old man was shot late Sunday in the Southwest Side Chicago Lawn neighborhood.

The man was standing on a sidewalk in the 6800 block of South Western at 11:45 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, police said.

He walked into Holy Cross Hospital with a gunshot wound to his left elbow, police said. His condition was stabilized.
