A man was shot multiple times in the South Side Englewood neighborhood Thursday night.

The shooting happened in the 5900 block of South Loomis at 8:30 p.m., police said.

The man, 24, was sitting in a vehicle in traffic when a blue minivan pulled up, and two males got out, police said. The males then started shooting at the 24-year-old before getting back in their van and driving off, police said.

The man was shot multiple times and taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
