Man wounded in Hermosa shooting

A man was shot in the Hermosa neighborhood on the Northwest Side Wednesday afternoon.

About 4:35 p.m., the 23-year-old was shot in the right ankle in the 1600 block of North Kildare, police said.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.
