A man was stabbed multiple times Sunday night in the Lake View neighborhood on the North Side.

About 11 p.m., the 24-year-old was walking in the 1000 block of West Belmont when someone approached and stabbed him in the torso and shoulder, police said.

The man walked into Weiss Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
