A woman died after jumping from a high-rise building Wednesday morning in the Streeterville neighborhood on the North Side.

Rachel Angres, 29, was found unresponsive in the 400 block of East Illinois at 11:48 a.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office. She jumped from a high rise at the corner of Illinois and McClurg, where she lived.

Angres was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 12:16 p.m., authorities said.

An autopsy Thursday ruled her death a suicide.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
