A 22-year-old man was critically injured in a shooting Thursday morning in the Riverdale neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened in the 13200 block of South Greenwood at 11:10 a.m., police said.

The man was sitting in a parked vehicle when a gray SUV pulled up with several people inside and at least one opened fire, police said.

The victim was shot in his abdomen, buttocks and knee, and was taken in critical condition to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn.
