The Cubs and Hot Doug’s are cooking up some sort of promotion, and the two will make a joint announcement in the Wrigley Field bleachers at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

The press release doesn’t provide any additional details about the announcement other than the involvement of Vienna Beef and Levy Restaurants.

The announcement will take place at Platform 14, a new outdoor concession area in the bleachers behind the center field scoreboard.

Hot Doug’s, the North Side hot dog hot spot, closed its doors in October. Loyal fans camped out all night under tents in the rain for their final meal from the iconic location.
