Cubs pitcher Jake Arrieta continues his almost perfect month of July after he shutout the Atlanta Braves on Sunday, and fellow pitcher Jon Lester congratulated the 29-year-old on Twitter.
How about @JArrieta34 yesterday?! Great to take 2 out of 3 in ATL, look for Clayton to continue the trend and his comeback tonight! #NVRQT

Arrieta is 4-0 with a 1.17 ERA and 30 strikeouts during his four starts in July, and as the MLB trade deadline creeps closer to July 30, rumors swirl about adding another pitcher to the rotation.
One rumor was to trade for Detroit Tigers pitcher David Price. A Cubs fan thought adding Price would make him the third best pitcher in the rotation, and Arrieta thought that idea was funny.
@Darron1908 @JLester34 @DAVIDprice14 Price a #3? 😂😂

The Cubs pitching staff is fifth in the MLB with a 3.30 ERA and 519 total strikeouts.
