Two men were shot Saturday evening in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The men, both 21 years old, were shot about 7:30 p.m. in the 3100 block of West Maypole, according to preliminary information from police.

One man was shot in the leg, while the other was shot in the shoulder, police said. They were both taken to Stroger Hospital, where their conditions were stabilized.
