A man was shot multiple times early Sunday in the Fuller Park neighborhood on the South Side.

The 32-year-old man was standing on the sidewalk in the 600 block of West 54th Street about 1 a.m. when a male walked up and fired shots, police said.

He was shot in the chest and right leg and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition stabilized.

Police said the victim is a documented gang member.
