Two men were shot Monday night in the Roseland neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The men, ages 23 and 31, were both shot about 9:30 p.m. in the 100 block of East 114th Place, according to preliminary information from police.

The 23-year-old suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the body and was listed in critical condition, but hospital information was not immediately available, police said. The older man was shot in the leg and took himself to Roseland Community Hospital.

A police source said both men are documented gang members.
