Man shot in hip on Near North Side

A man washurt in a drive-by shooting Sunday night on the Near North Side.

The attack happened about 9:30 p.m. in the 800 block of North Hudson, according topolice News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines.

The 19-year-old was standing outside when a white car droveby and someone inside fired shots, Gaines said.

He was shot in the hip and takento Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.
