A man was fatally shot in the Roseland neighborhood on the South Side on Tuesday night.

About 10:20 p.m., 28-year-old Marshun Black was near the 10000 block of South Wentworth when a car drove by and shots were fired at him, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Black, who lived on the same block, was shot in the head and abdomen, and was pronounced dead at the scene at 10:57 p.m., according to police and the medical examiner’s office.

Police said the victim was a gang member.
