A drunken University of Alabama freshman from Glenview has been charged with breaking in to the school’s student center Sunday, causing “extensive property damage,” trying to steal “a large sum of cash,” then confronting officers with a metal pipe, according to news reports in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Kacper Gozdecki, 18, who faces suspension from the university, was being held on $81,000 bail on four felony charges.
