A 20-year-old man who was found shot dead in an alley on the Far South Side early Sunday has been identified.

Chris Green was discovered unresponsive with multiple gunshot wounds at 5 a.m. in the 11700 block of South LaSalle, according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Green, of the 12000 block of South Parnell, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the medical examiner’s office.

His death was ruled a homicide.
