Gas main struck by construction crew on Near West Side

Firefighters are responding to a HazMat call after a gas main was struck Thursday morning on the Near West Side.

A construction crew struck a four-inch gas main at Western and Warren, near the United Center, according to the Chicago Fire Department.

Some streets in the area are closed as crews respond.
