A man was shot early Wednesday in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

About 1 a.m., the 28-year-old was walking in the 1700 block of West 77th Street when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in good condition to Little Company of Mary Hospital and Health Care Centers in Evergreen Park, police said.
