A 22-year-old man walked into a hospital Sunday morning after being shot in East Garfield Park on the West Side.

He showed up at Rush University Medical Center about 6:30 a.m. with a gunshot wound to the knee, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

The man told investigators he had been wounded in the 2800 block of West Flournoy, police said.

His condition stabilized, police said.
