Man shot in Edgewater

A man was injured in an Edgewater neighborhood shooting early Tuesday on the North Side.

The 23-year-old was sitting in a parked vehicle talking with his girlfriend in the 5900 block of North Kenmore about 1:25 a.m. when he heard people arguing outside and shots rang out, according to Chicago Police.

He was suffered gunshot wounds to the arm and back and a graze wound to the ear, police said. The man was taken Presence St. Francis Hospital in Evanston, where his condition was stabilized.

Police said the man may not have been the intended target of the shooting.
