Adam Gase is taking one Bears assistant with him.
The Dolphins named Bo Hardegree, who had served as a low-level Bears offensive assistant for the past season, their quarterbacks coach on Wednesday.
Hardegree came with Gase to Chicago from the Broncos, where he was the offensive quality control coach.
Hardegree might be the only Bears assistant to join Gase; Sports Illustrated reported Wednesday the Bears blocked outside linebackers coach Clint Hurtt from becoming Gase’s defensive line coach.
Gase was named the Dolphins’ head coach earlier this month after one year as the Bears’ offensive coordinator.
