A woman was shot Saturday in the Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side.

The 23-year-old woman was walking to her car in the 6900 block of North Greenview Avenue at 6:05 p.m. when the suspect walked up to her and fired shots. The suspect, who is believed to have had prior contact with the woman, then ran to a dark colored vehicle and drove away, police said.

The woman suffered gunshot wounds to the hip, abdomen and arm, and showed up at Presence Saint Francis Hospital in Evanston where her condition was stabilized, police said.
