Man shot in South Austin

A man was wounded in a shooting Monday night in the South Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

At 8:55 p.m., the 19-year-old man was a passenger in a northbound vehicle in the 100 block of North Cicero when someone in a silver car fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man was shot in the buttocks and was taken to Loretto Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
