Man shot on Southwest Side

A man was shot early Sunday on the Southwest Side.

The man, 23, was walking at 2:47 a.m. in the 4200 block of South Cicero when someone in a vehicle fired shots, striking him in the right ankle, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
