A man robbed a U.S. Bank branch in southwest suburban Frankfort Tuesday afternoon, according to the FBI.

The man, thought to be in his 30s, made off with an unspecified amount in cash after what was called a non-takeover robbery at the branch at 9695 W. Lincoln Highway, authorities said.

He was about 6 feet tall with brown hair and a gray long-sleeve T-shirt.
