A man was shot while driving Wednesday night in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The 22-year-old was driving south at 9:42 p.m. in the 0-100 block of North Homan when someone in another vehicle pulled alongside him and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the right cheek and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
