A man was shot during a robbery early Monday in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

At 2:33 a.m., the 38-year-old was walking in the 5200 block of West Augusta when someone walked up and announced a robbery, according to Chicago Police. The victim was shot in the foot after he pushed the suspect and ran away.

He was taken to West Suburban Medical Center where his condition was stabilized.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
