A man was shot Wednesday afternoon in the West Pullman neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The shooting happened at 3:08 p.m. in the 300 block of West 119th Street, according to Chicago Police.

The 23-year-old man was shot in the chest and took himself to Roseland Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
