A man was injured in a drive-by shooting Wednesday morning in the North Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

The 25-year-old was in the 1500 block of South Komensky at 8:21 a.m. when a van pulled up and multiple people inside fired shots, striking him in leg, according to Chicago Police.

He ran to the 1600 block of South Komensky, got into a vehicle and went to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said. He was listed in good condition.

A police source said the victim is a documented gang member.
