Five people were injured in a crash involving a CTA bus Thursday morning on the South Side.

A CTA No. 75 bus heading east collided with a vehicle at the intersection of 75th and King Drive at 11:50 a.m., according to CTA spokeswoman Catherine Hosinski.

Two people in serious-to-critical condition were taken to Stroger Hospital and Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, according to Fire Media. Three others in fair-to-serious condition were taken to Jackson Park Hospital and St. Bernard Hospital.

Three of the injured were on the bus, including the driver, Hosinski said.

CTA No. 75 buses were rerouted in the area after the crash, according to the transit agency.
