Two men have been charged for a Thursday night shooting in northwest suburban Hoffman Estates.

Rasool Haleem, 31, of Streamwood, and Luis Segovia, 18, of West Chicago, were each charged with attempted murder, aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated robbery, according to Hoffman Estates police. Bond was set at $2 million for each man.

A third man, Ryan Ratliff, 26, of Elgin, was also being sought in connection with the shooting, police said. He was believed to be armed.

Authorities were called at 10:30 p.m. for reports of shots fired in a parking lot in the 4600 block of West Higgens, according to police. A 26-year-old McHenry man was found on the ground with a gunshot wound.

He was taken in critical condition to Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, police said. The shooting was believed to be an isolated incident and between people who knew each other.
