A man was critically wounded in a shooting late Monday morning in the Little Village neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 18-year-old was in the 2700 block of South Pulaski when the shooter walked up and opened fire, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot several times in the groin and thigh and taken in critical condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.

Police said the shooting appears to be gang-related.
