SHARE 16-year-old boy shot in Back of the Yards

A 16-year-old boy was shot Sunday afternoon in the South Side Back of the Yards neighborhood.

The shooting happened in the 4500 block of South Marshfield at 12:20 p.m., according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in the leg and taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital.

Police said the teen is a documented gang member and the shooting might be gang-related.
