A man was wounded Sunday in a Chicago Lawn neighborhood drive-by shooting on the Southwest Side.

The 20-year-old man was standing on a front porch in the 6700 block of South Claremont Avenue at 2:52 p.m. when a vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, Chicago Police said.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the groin, and was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where his condition was stabilized, police said.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
