A man was stabbed to death Tuesday evening during a domestic incident in the Homan Square neighborhood on the West Side.

Matabias Biles, 34, was stabbed in the face and chest about 7:40 p.m. in the 3400 block of West Flournoy, according to Chicago Police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

Biles, who lived on the same block as the attack, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 8:57 p.m., the medical examiner’s office said.

Police said the stabbing was domestic-related, but additional details were not immediately available. No one has been taken into custody as Area North detectives conduct a homicide investigation.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
