A 26-year-old man was shot in both arms Tuesday afternoon in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.

He was in a vehicle in the 2800 block of West Polk at 2:16 p.m. when another vehicle approached, Chicago Police said. Two people got out and at least one of them opened fire, hitting the man in the left arm and grazing his right arm.

He was taken in good condition to Mount Sinai Hospital, police said.
