An 18-year-old man was shot Monday afternoon in the Lawndale neighborhood on the West Side.

He was standing on a porch about 3:40 p.m. in the 3900 block of West Flournoy when a male approached and shot him, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the left leg and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition, police said.

A police source said the man was a documented gang member and was not cooperating with investigators.
