Chicago Police are warning Northwest Side residents of two recent robberies on the same Albany Park neighborhood block.

The suspect used force in both robberies to take the victim’s property in the 4700 block of North Monticello, according to the alert from Area North detectives. The robberies happened at 8:50 p.m. on March 7 and at 1:15 p.m. on March 16.

The suspect was described as a male between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot and 170 to 180 pounds.

The men, 18 and 20, were in the 1800 block of West Monroe Street about 9:20 p.m. when two people got out of a light-colored sedan and fired shots. They were hospitalized in fair condition.
