Man shot in Ashburn

A man was shot Thursday afternoon in the Ashburn neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 25-year-old was shot in the back at 4:11 p.m. in the 7900 block of South Kenneth, according to preliminary information from Chicago Police.

He was taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
